SOME WHERE TO RELAX

I would like to say a big thank you for those looking after the QUESLETT NATURE RESERVE.
I can not get around as much as I used to but in the better weather it is somewhere I like to go to for a bit of Peace and quiet.
Thank heavens for places like the reserve we need somewhere to relax from time to time
Keep up the good work

FALLEN TREE TO BE REMOVED FROM RESERVE MAIN PATH

I have been chasing up getting rid of the large tree which has come down in the Queslett Nature Reserve right across the main path (ASDA end).
I have been assured by the tree surgeons who have been out to see it the tree will be removed soon.
In the mean time take care when trying to get past it.

RESERVE SITE MEETING WITH PERSIMMONS

Along with other members of the Friends of the Queslett Nature Reserve I met up with the Booths Lane developers Persimmons to discuss issues regarding the reserve, last week.
During a walk along the paths close to their boundary to the new development site it was found to be boggy and in need of attention. Persimmons are looking to see it they can help with some form of drainage especially near the entrances to this path.
